The Member Solutions Specialist II position focuses on loss prevention, collections, managing delinquent accounts and the loan recovery process. The Specialist must uphold core service promises, including maintaining professionalism, accuracy, and financial security during member interactions. Key responsibilities include monitoring late payments, conducting follow-up on delinquent accounts, coordinating bankruptcy filings, and managing repossession processes when necessary. The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a structured office environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in collections, loss prevention and/or loan recovery, although not required as Northland does provide paid on the job training. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and demonstrate patience, cooperation, and caution when handling sensitive financial matters. This role combines member service excellence with collections expertise while maintaining compliance with credit union policies, procedures and regulations.
